This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by the private Finance application operated on this website.

- User account information, roles and access permissions.
- Authentication, security and application audit information.
- Finance workflow data, uploaded working files and accounting reference data used by authorized finance staff.
- Accounting data requested from e-conomic for reporting when the integration is enabled.
- Technical information required to diagnose application and integration errors.
Purpose
Information is processed to provide secure access, support finance operations, validate and prepare accounting data, provide financial reports, maintain auditability and protect the application from misuse.
e-conomic reporting data
e-conomic remains the source of truth for posted accounting data. Report data retrieved through the e-conomic API is not intended to create a secondary accounting ledger. Where report responses are cached for performance, the cache is limited to less than one hour.
Sharing
Information is not sold. Data is made available only to authorized users and to service providers required to operate the website and its integrations, subject to the organization’s applicable agreements and policies.
Security
The application uses role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication for Finance users. Integration credentials are stored encrypted using the WordPress installation’s security keys. The application is intended to be operated over HTTPS.
Retention
Operational finance data and audit information are retained according to the organization’s accounting, security and legal requirements. Temporary API report caches are retained for less than one hour.
